OBITUARY   1957-2018
     Charlotte Denise BEYER, age 61, of Guston, Ky., in Meade County, died Tuesday 
September 18, 2018.  Charlotte was born March 29, 1957 in Hardinsburg, Ky, and was 
raised in the surrounding area.
     Later in life. she journeyed to other Destiny's, but never forgot her native 
Breckinridge County roots.  At various times during her life, she lived around the 
state in Lexington and Louisville, or even as close as neighboring Meade County.
     There were times when Charlotte even lived as far away as the Tampa Bay area 
in Florida, but was still a country girl at heart.  She loved to travel; sometimes 
her adventures were a quick trip, other times she sunk her feet in for a while as 
evidenced by the numerous locals in which she made her home.
     At a young age, Charlotte displayed an artistic talent and sensibility.  
Early on, it was more traditional drawing and later developed into a career of 
cake decoration.  Later on, her artistic skills shifted more towards innovative 
craft making, along with family traditions of sewing and quilting passed down from 
older generations.
     In addition to her artistic endeavors, Charlotte had an extensive career of 
restaurant management and food service; she was passionate about being a leader, a 
teacher to so many young kids finding their first steps in the adult world, and 
always ready to make someone's day with a meal and a smile.
     Family, friends, random strangers, and her love of God was so much that 
sometimes her heart couldn't hold it all.  Charlotte always wanted to see and talk 
to everyone at every family gathering, worship service, or a shopping trip at the 
grocery store.
She was preceded in death by her father, Paul DOWELL.
She is survived by:

Norma Lee KINNISON
two sisters
one brother
     Funeral services were held Sunday, September 23, 2018 at Alexander Funeral 
Home, Irvington, with burial in the Freedom Cemetery.

#0139 Freedom Cumberland Presbyterian Church Cemetery.  Location:  Turn north 
immediately west of "Dead Man's Curve" from Highway KY60.  The church lies east 
of the road, and is blocked from view by a low ridge; Breckinridge County, Ky.
