OBITUARY

     Mr. Franklin John BIDDLE, age 56, of Star Route #2, Brandenburg, Ky in 
Meade County, died Friday, October 9, 1970 at the Veteran's Administration 
Hospital, Louisville, Ky (Jefferson County).  He was born in Meade County, Ky 
on April 19, 1914, a son of John Hubert BIDDLE and Betty DURBIN BIDDLE.  He is 
survived by:
his mother, Mrs. Betty RHODES of Star Route #2, Brandenburg, Ky
two daughters:
Mrs. William (Vivian Mae) SINNETT of Fort Sills, Oklahoma
Mrs. Carlton (Mary Wynona) LUCAS of Louisville, Ky
two sisters:
Mrs. Gola SKETO of Route #1, Webster, Ky (Breckinridge County)
Mrs. Wynona WHITTLE of Russell Springs, Ky (Russell County)
four brothers:
Thomas BIDDLE of Irvington, Ky (Breckinridge County)
Alex BIDDLE of Star Route #2, Brandenburg, Ky
Elmer BIDDLE of Star Route #2, Brandenburg, Ky
James BIDDLE of Route #1, Vine Grove, Ky (Hardin County)
2 grandchildren
     Funeral services were held on Monday, October 12, 1970 from Saint Mary 
Magdalen Catholic Church at Payneville in Meade County, Ky, under the 
direction of the Jenkins-Sturgeon Funeral Home.  Burial was in the Bruner 
Cemetery in Breckinridge County.

Breckinridge County, Ky Cemeteries, Volume 1, published in 1991:
#0055 Bruner Cemetery #1, located overlooking KY 144 from the ridge, .9 mile on
Bruner Ridge.  
Southwest of Frymire, 2 1/2 miles northeast of Union Star, Ky in Breckinrdge County.
 They 
all have a tombstone.

He has a tombstone:

no wife in his obituary  (He married Laura SMITH)
son of John Hubert BIDDLE & Mary Elizabeth "Betty" DURBIN
I found his wife's name on the Ky Birth Index Records for his two daughters.

HIS FATHER ALSO HERE with a tombstone:

son of Nathaniel BIDDLE & Mary WATHEN
