His remains were brought to this place (Hardinsburg) for interment. The funeral services were conducted from the Methodist Episcopal Church South, the Reverend W. V. HARREL of the Baptist Church, officiating. Mr. BISHOP was for many years a merchant at this place, but about 14 years ago, he moved to Louisville, where he resided until his death. He leaves a wife and three children to mourn his loss. His children are: Lee BISHOP of this place (Hardinsburg) Mrs. BALLENBACK of Birmingham, Alabama (Jefferson County) Leslie BISHOP of Indianapolis, Indiana (Marion County) Mr. BISHOP was a life-long member of the Methodist Episcopal Church South, and a constant Christian. He had many friends in this and adjoining counties whose's tender, sincere sympathy to the stricken family. THEIR LIVING SON & FAMILY ALSO HERE: BISHOP, Arthur Lee "Lee" 1870 -- 1935 husband of Virena CLARKSON Virena CLARKSON 1867 -- 1947 wife of Arthur Lee I FOUND ANOTHER CHILD OF JAMES & ANNA: #0275 OWEN Cemetery #2, Take Highway 702 to Glen Dean. Turn left at Post Office. Go south along Daniels Creek approximately one mile, and turn left on to dirt road. BISHOP, Louise died 11 Jan 1929 daughter of Jim & Annie I did not find mention of Louise's death in the January or February 1929 microfilm of the Breckinridge News.
