Archie Bishop died Saturday, March 24, 2012 at his residence.
He was employed at Paxton Lumber Company for over
twenty years.
He was born on July 10, 1947 in Louisville, KY, the son
of the later Archie  and Ruth Spradlin Bishop.
He was raised and preceded in death by Charlie and
Carrie Spradlin and preceded in death by his daughter
Wanda Bishop Keith.
Mr. Bishop is survived by his wife: Dorothy Bishop; Six
children: Richard (Bonnie) Bishop, Sr., Rita (James
Fey) Johnson, Archie (Sherry Sweeney), Charlie
(Angie Milby) Bishop, Carrie (Roger Goff) Bushong,
and Kim (David) Cook. Two sisters: Ruby Bond and
Alma Bentley; and Two brothers: Melvin Bishop and
William Mill; 16 Grandchildren and 19
Great-grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be at 2:00 P.M. E.D.T March 24,
2012, from the Chapel of the Alexander Funeral Home
with burial to follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5 to 9 P.M.
