OBITUARY

JOHN R. BLAIR   1902 - 1999
     John Riley BLAIR, age 96, of Elizabethtown, Ky., in Hardin County, died on 
Monday, March 8, 1999, at Hardin Memorial Hospital in Elizabethtown.  Mr. BLAIR 
was born June 25, 1902 in Breckinridge County, the son of the late John Edward 
BLAIR and Elizabeth LUCAS BLAIR.  He was a retired farmer.  Mr. BLAIR was 
preceded in death by:
his wife, Mrs. Ibbie LANGLEY BLAIR
and one son:
John Garland BLAIR

He is survived by:
one son
one daughter
14 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren
     Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, March 10, 1999 at 
Watkins-Ellis-Mayes Funeral Home, Leitchfield, with burial in Hudson Cemetery.
