OBITUARY
JOE W. BLAKE
     Only a few days following the death of his mother, Joe W. BLAKE died 
Thursday, October 13, 1969 in Louisville, Ky (Jefferson County), where he 
had lived for years.  He was born in Harned in Breckinridge County on 
February 20, 1925, a son of Chester and Lydia BLAIR BLAKE.  He is survived 
by:
his father
four sisters:
Mrs. Elizabeth EARLY of Louisville, Ky
Mrs. Iva Mae REYNOLDS of Caro, Michigan (Tuscola County)
Mrs. Bessie PATE of Cloverport, Ky
Mrs. Dorothy LINDSAY of Evansville, Indiana (Vanderburgh County)
two brothers:
William BLAKE of Cloverport, Ky
George BLAKE of Mitchell, Indiana (Lawrence County)
     The funeral was held on Saturday, October 18, 1969 from the Dhonau 
Funeral Home in Cloverport, and burial was held in the Cloverport Cemetery.
