TWO OBITUARIES 

BLEDSOE -- Mr. Ernest W.
     Passed away at 6:15 p.m. Wednesday, July 29, 1964 in his 78th year; Family
residence, 
221 S. 30th Street.  Beloved father of Messrs. Manuel, William, and Owen BLEDSOE,
Mrs. Ruby 
Marie MILES.  Also survived by 3 sisters, Mrs. Lizzie PARKMEN, Mrs. Carrie HITE,
Mrs. Effie 
COCHRELL; 2 brothers, Messrs. Lamar and Clyde BLEDSOE.  9 grandchildren
     Mr. BLEDSOE is resting at the Oak Street Home of Arch L. Heady and Son, 1201 E.
Oak 
Street at Schiller Avenue where services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Saturday,
August 1, 
1964 with graveside services at 12:30 p.m. Saturday at Hensley Cemetery in
Irvington, 
Kentucky.  Friends may call after 4 p.m. Thursday.

Ernest M. BLEDSOE, age 77, of 221 S. 30th, a retired section maintenance man with
the 
Southern Railway System, died at 6:15 p.m. Wednesday at Louisville Memorial
Hospital.
     He was a native of Edgefield County, South Carolina, and a member of Immanuel
Baptist 
Church.  He worked for the railway 30 years, and retired 12 years ago.
Surviving Mr. BLEDSOE are:
three sons:
Manuel BLEDSOE
William BLEDSOE
Owen BLEDSOE
a daughter:
Mrs. Ruby Marie MILES
9 grandchildren
     The body will be at Arch L. Heady and Son Funeral Home, 1201 E. Oak, after 4
p.m. 
Thursday.  The funeral will be there at 10 a.m. Saturday.  Burial will be in Hensley

Cemetery, Irvington, Kentucky.
