Obituary
MRS. J. H. BLYTHE

Mrs. Rose ALLEN BLYTHE, age 94, and the widow of the late J. H. BLYTHE, died 
at her home in Cloverport (Breckinridge County), Ky., on Sunday September 4, 
1960.  She was born October 7, 1866 near Cloverport, and was the last member 
of the family of William B. and Eliza OGLESBY ALLEN.  She had taught school in 
Cloverport for many years, and conducted a private school.  She was a member 
of the Cloverport Baptist Church.  Surviving Mrs. BLYTHE are:
one son:
John H. BLYTHE, Chevy Chase, Maryland
two daughters:
Mrs. Roy DYE  (no residence given)
Miss Lucia BLYTHE, in the home
two granddaughters:
Mrs. Sidney Lee BRYANT, Metairie, Louisana
Ruth BLYTHE, Chevy Chase, Maryland

Funeral services were held on Wednesday at the Dhonau Funeral Home of 
Cloverport, and burial was in the Cloverport Cemetery.

Additional Comments:
I did not find a tombstone for Rose or her husband, J. H. Blythe in the 
Breckinridge County Cemetery Book, Vol. one, that was published in 1991.
