OBITUARY
KIRK (Breckinridge County, Ky) -- MRS. TOM BLYTHE
     James WITHERS has received word of the death of his grandmother, Mrs. 
Sallie BLYTHE, widow of the late Thomas BLYTHE, formerly of Irvington, Ky 
(Breckinridge County), at a hospital in Lakeland, Florida (Polk County).  She 
died on Saturday, March 25, 1961.
     Mrs. BLYTHE was born in Hardinsburg, Ky (Breckinridge County) on May 3, 
1866, a daughter of George and Sarah ALDRIDGE HOOK.  She is survived by:
one daughter:
Mrs. Alvin (Ruth) WITHERS of Kirk, Ky
one son:
Ross BLYTHE, in the home
Another daughter, Nora BLYTHE BOARD, died several years ago.
4 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren
three sisters:
Mrs. Lula HENDRICK of Hardinsburg, Ky
Mrs. Mollie GRIFFIN of Gulfport, Mississippi (Harrison County)
Mrs. Bettie DeVOUCHYE of Gulfport, Mississippi
     Her funeral and burial took place in Lakeland, Florida Tuesday morning 
(March 28, 1961).

I found Sallie and Thomas BLYTHE'S daughter, Nora, in the Breckinridge County 
Cemeteries, volume one, published in 1991:
Cedar Hill Cemetery, located high on a hill overlooking the city of Irvington, 
Ky.

       James M.     1901 -- 1939  husband of Nora BLYTHE
