Breckinridge County News; 5/7/1879
BOARD - George Board, grandson of Mr. George Blanford, of Bewleyville, died on the
12th instant.  At 3 o'clock, P.M. on the 13th, a funeral discourse in memory of the
dead was preached by Rev. J. R. Dempsey, after which the procession followed the
corpse to the burying-ground near the residence of Mr. Charles Blanford, uncle of
the deceased.  In the absence of a minister, the Hon. T. J. Drury read the burial
service, after which the corruptible was placed in waiting for incorruption.  The
loss of an only child is very great to the mother's heart.
