SIGNED: Martha Breckinridge News, Cloverport, Ky., Wednesday, March 14, 1900 Page 1, Obituary BOARD -- FELL ASLEEP FEBRUARY 8, 1900 AT THE HOME OF HER DAUGHTER, MRS. COLEMAN HASWELL Mrs. Emmeline BRUCE BOARD, the daughter of Hiram and Mary BRUCE. She was born at Forks of Rough in Breckinridge County on September 4, 1832. She married to J.S. MORRIS on August 2, 1849. One daughter of this union survives, Mrs. William HENSLEY. Left a widow, she married S.V.R. BOARD January 1, 1860. One son and one daughter of this marriage with two brothers and three sisters survive her and many relatives and friends. She was a member of the Methodist Episcopal Church South for many years. She was a semi-invalid for years. The Reverend F. M. PETTY, pastor conducted the funeral services at her home. Additional Comments: I did not find a tombstone for her first husband J.S.
