OBITUARY
     George Hicks BOARD, age 78 of 2234 Portland, Louisville, Ky (Jefferson 
County), died Sunday, March 12, 1961 at Norton Memorial Infirmary in 
Louisville, Ky.
     For many years the BOARD family lived in Irvington, Ky (Breckinridge 
County), where he operated a garage, and later was a salesman for Stratton & 
Ters Tegge Company.  After moving to Louisville, he was a timekeeper for the 
Sheraton Hotel, a position form which he retired.  He is survived by:
his wife, Mrs. Garnette LIVERS BOARD
one son:
Joseph Daynon BOARD
one granddaughter:
Mrs. Charles W. (Mary Ann BOARD) KEIFER
2 great grandchildren
All of Louisville, Ky
     Funeral services were held on Tuesday, March 14, 1961 from the Alexander 
Funeral Home of Irvington, Ky (Breckinridge County), and burial was in Mount 
Merino Cemetery.
