OBITUARY
Mrs. Nora Lee BOARD, a 90 year old resident of SeRee, in Breckinridge County, 
died Sunday, February 22, 1981 at the Breckinridge Memorial Hospital in 
Hardinsburg.  She was born in Breckinridge County on August 18, 1890, the 
daughter of Tom and Josephine BASHAM LASLIE.  Mrs. BOARD is survived by:
seven daughters:
Mrs. Mamie CLARK of Hardinsburg, Ky
Mrs. Beulah DAUGHERTY of Hardinsburg, Ky
Mrs. Pauline BUTLER of SeRee, Ky
Mrs. Helen HALL of Anderson, Indiana (Madison County)
Mrs. Lillian JOHNSON of Detroit, Michigan (Wayne County)
Mrs. Myrna SKAGGS, of West Point, Ky (Hardin County)
Mrs. Ruth SIPES of Rineyville, Ky (Hardin County)
two sons:
John F. BOARD of Hardinsburg, Ky
William Henry BOARD of Harned, Ky (Breckinridge County)
23 grandchildren; 43 great grandchildren; 6 great great grandchildren
     The funeral was held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 25, 1981 from the 
Fairview United Methodist Church with the Reverend Allen Chappell, officiating.  
Burial was in the Fairview Cemetery under the direction of the Trent-Dowell 
Funeral Home, Hardinsburg.

Nora Lee LASLIE BOARD has a tombstone at the Fairview United Methodist Church 
Cemetery at SeRee, in Breckinridge County, Ky.
Nora is the step-daughter of my great grandmother, Cornelia WHITWORTH ALLGOOD 
LASLIE.  Thomas LASLIE and Mrs. Cornelia "Neelie" ALLGOOD married after their 
spouses died.  They had 3 more children, Thomas, Robert, and Catherine LASLIE.
