Burns Funeral Home
Virginia Elizabeth Hurst Boling, 83 of Cloverport 
passed away Monday, February 6, 2017 at the Norton 
Brownsboro Hospital in Louisville.

She was born in Hancock County on January 26, 
1934 to the late Lonard and Susie Sanders Hurst. 
Virginia was a housewife and a member of the Pisgah 
Baptist Church. Besides her parents, she was 
preceded in death by her brothers, Thomas and 
Ernest Cecil Hurst, sisters, Rose Tindle and 
Dolly Mattingly.

Leaving behind to mourn her passing, but 
celebrating the life that she lived is her 
husband, Clayton Boling of Cloverport, sons; 
Kenneth (Sandy) Boling of Cloverport, Marty D. 
(Joyce) Boling of Cloverport, daughters; Ruby 
M. Hedges of Cloverport, Gail Boling of Owensboro, 
Patricia Ann (Chris) Johnson of Owensboro, 
sisters; Lona and Zella Ruth Emery of Cloverport, 
Nancy Chancellor of Cloverport, Katherine 
(George) Newton of Reynolds Station and Opal 
(Robert) Keown of Fordsville, 9 Grandchildren 
and 6 Great Grandchildren.

A celebration of life for Virginia will be held 
2:00 pm, Friday, February 10 at Cloverport Funeral 
Chapel with Bro. Ray Estes officiating. Burial 
will follow at Pisgah Cemetery. The family will 
receive friends and family from 4:00 to 8:00 pm 
Thursday at Cloverport Funeral Home.
