Melvin Leroy Bonnell, Jr. age 43 of Chesterfield,VA died 

Wednesday, May 9,2007 in Cape Girardeau, MO. He was born in Guam 

on October 19,1963. He was employed by Silgan Plastics as a 

maintenance manager and he enjoyed playing golf and shopping.
 
Melvin was preceded in death by his father - Melvin Leroy 

Bonnell,Sr and a sister - Jackie Bonnell
 
He is survived by his wife - Robin Davidson Bonnell of Virginia
mother - Julia Bonnell of Guam
2 daughters - Danielle and Whitney Bonnell of Louisville,KY
2 step daughters - Ashley Cerda of Texas and Whitney Mata of 

Virginia
a granddaughter - Kamryn Cerda
1 brother - Mark Nelson of Guam
1 sister - Kimberly Ada of Guam
 
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, May 16,2007 at 11AM 

CDT at Trent-Dowell Funeral Home in Hardinsburg,KY. Burial will 

be in the Bethany Cemetery in Louisville,KY with military honors. 

Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 4-8PM CDT and after 

8:30AM CDT Wednesday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions 

are requested to: American Cancer Society Relay for Life or The 

Lupus Foundation.
