John Wesley Bratcher, 78, of Cloverport, died on Wednesday, January 28 (1987) 
in Hardinsburg.  Born in Breckinridge County on March 26, 1908, a son of the 
late Thornton and Sarah Wells Bratcher.  A farmer.  He was preceded in death by 
his wife, Mrs. Mary Bratcher and three daughters.  Surviving are:
one daughter:
Mrs. Margaret Stinnett, Hardinsburg
one son:
William C. Bratcher, Cloverport
one sister:
Mrs. Gertie Phillips, Hardinsburg
one brother:
Tennis Bratcher, Cloverport
8 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren
Funeral - Saturday, January 31, Trent-Dowell Funeral Home, Hardinsburg
Burial - Macedonia Cemetery
