NEWS ITEM: The death of Miss Maggie BRIGHT (should be BRITE) last Thursday, March 22, 1900, is much regretted. Page 8 FALLS OF ROUGH (BRECKINRIDGE COUNTY, KY) NEWS ITEM: Miss Maggie BRIGHT ( should be BRITE), died of consumption (now called tuberculosis) on Thursday March 22, 1900. She was laid to rest on Friday in Union Chapel cemetery. (Union Chapel Church & Cemetery is now known as Macedonia Baptist Church & Cemetery) Additional Comments: Breckinridge County Cemeteries, volume one, published in 1991: Macedonia Baptist Church Cemetery, located west of junction of Rockvale-Black Lick Road and Tick Ridge Road. Approximately 3/5 mile south of Rockvale in southwest Breckinridge County. BRITE, Maggie Apr 15 1883 -- Mar 22 1910 (actually she died in 1900. Transcribers copied the date wrong.) Maggie is on the same tombstone with: BRITE, Maud Mar 10 1888 -- Feb 23 1895 BRITE, O. W. Feb 26 1887 -- Feb 18 1914 (most likely a son) The 3 children of O.P. & M.J. BRITE THEIR FATHER: BRITE, O. P. Nov 25 1849 -- Jun 23 1922 Their mother does not have a tombstone.
