Donna Faye Compton Brooks, age 40 of Caneyville, KY died Tuesday, October 6, 
2009 at her residence following an illness. She was born in Elizabethtown, KY 
on December 27, 1968. She loved her family, her dogs and riding horses. 
She was preceded in death by her father - Donald Compton.
 
Donna is survived by her husband Sammy Gene Brooks of Caneyville, KY
mother - Marsha Compton of Hardinsburg, KY
4 stepchildren - Brandy Brooks of Leitchfield, KY
Brittany Brooks of Elizabethtown, KY
Dacota Brooks of Millwood, KY
Sammy Brooks, Jr of Caneyville, KY
1 brother - Marcus Ray Compton of Leitchfield, KY
Grandparents - Haskel and Lois Key of Custer, KY
 
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 10, 2009 at 11AM CDT at 
Trent-Dowell Funeral Home with Bro. Donnie Lewis and Bro. Murray Stevenson,Jr 
officiating. Burial will be in the Bennett Cemetery. Visitation on Friday from 
4-8PM CDT and after 8:30AM CDT Saturday. Memorial contributions are requested 
to the Bennett Cemetery or Hospice of Central Kentucky.
