OBITUARY
ELIJAH BROWN
HARDINSBURG---Elijah J. BROWN, age 93, died at 4:00 a.m. Tuesday, January 9, 1962 
in the home of a son, Joy D. BROWN, Hardinsburg, Ky.
He is survived by:
his wife, Mrs. Ethel BROWN of Sample, Ky (Breckinridge County)
three other sons:
Earl BROWN of Louisville, Ky (Jefferson County)
George BROWN of Louisville, Ky
Shafter BROWN of Elden, Missouri (Miller County)
one daughter:
Mrs. Leslie JOHNSON of Brandenburg, Ky (Meade County)
one brother:
Hugh BROWN of Sample, Ky
one sister:
Mrs. Lena DAVIS of Louisville, Ky
     Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, January 12, 1962 in the New 
Bethel Baptist Church with burial in the Sample Cemetery.
The body is here at Dowell Funeral Home.
