OBITUARY    
     Nathaniel Webster "Nat" Brown, age 81, of Star Route Harned, died on 
Wednesday, September 2, 1987 at St. Matthews Manor Nursing Home, Louisville.  Mr. 
Brown was born May 8, 1906 in Carlinville, Illinois, a son of the late Reverend 
C. C. Brown and Myrtle Webster Brown.  He was a retired carpenter, and a veteran 
of World War II.
He is survived by:
his wife, Mrs. Vivian Shelton Brown
two daughters
three sisters
one brother
6 grandchildren; one great grandchild
     Funeral services were held Saturday, September 5, 1987 at the Kingswood 
Wesleyan Church with Trent-Dowell Funeral Home, Hardinsburg, in charge of 
arrangements.  Burial was in Kingswood Cemetery.
