Emma F. Brown, 90, daughter of the late Roy and Katie Young 
was born October 21, 1926. She departed this life, Monday 
morning December 26, 2016 at Norton Pavilion in Louisville, KY.
She joined the church at an early age, and accepted the Lord 
Jesus Christ as her personal savior. 

She leaves to cherish her memory; 3 daughters, Starr 
Brown Hearn, Kay Brown Simmons, & Sandra Brown 2 grandchildren, 
Naklesa Brock & Kaleta Duffie: 5 great-grandchildren along with 
3 sisters & 2 brothers, & many relatives and a host of friends.

Funeral services will be held Friday December 30, 2016 at 1 PM 
EST at the Alexander Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Brooks 
Cemetery in Irvington.

Visitation will be Friday December 30, 2016 from 12 noon to 1 PM 
EST at the funeral home.
