Henrietta Board Bruhn, 68, formerly of Irvington went to be
with the lord on December 8, 2013 at Norton’s Brownsboro
Hospital in Louisville.
She was born November 14, 1945 to the late Delphus &
Kathleen Ross Combes Board.  She was preceded in death
by two influential Step fathers Howard Abell & Oscar
Combes; a husband Jerome “Jerry” Bruhn; two sisters Lois
Rodgers & Patsy Romans; & a granddaughter Candace
Galusky.
She was a very hard working woman; she enjoyed working in
fine jewelry & was charitable.  She loved her grandkids & her
Siamese cat “Cujo”.  She also loved her Wal- mart Family
who she’d been working with since 2005.
Henrietta is survived by her children & grandchildren Tambra
“Lynn” (Dave) Williams of Painesville OH, Jeffrey L. Jones of
Hampton, VA, Mitchell Earl (Marybeth) Jones of The Plains,
VA, & Wendie Jones (Brent) Mewszel of Hampton VA.
Grandchildren Aaron, Frances, & Matthew Williams, Jacob, &
Sarah Jones, Dylan & Russell Jones, & Dalton & Dakota
Mewszel; one great grandson Damon “DJ” Sams, Jr.; step-
siblings William Abell & Naney Bates.
Funeral services will be held Friday Dec. 13 at 12:30 PM EST
at Alexander Funeral Home in Irvington.  Burial will follow in
Bethel Cemetery in Bewleyville, KY.
Visitation will be Thursday Dec. 12 from 4 to 9 PM EST at the
funeral home.
