 OBITUARY
     Benjamin Morton BRUINGTON, Hardinsburg, died at Breckinridge Memorial 
Hospital in Hardinsburg, Tuesday, May 25, 1982 at the age of 92.  He formerly 
resided in the Garfield community of Breckinridge County, where he was a farmer.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mrs. Lena BRUINGTON in 1981.
     Mr. BRUINGTON was born in Breckinridge County on October 4, 1889.  His 
parents were George W. and Nannie SNYDER BRUINGTON.
He is survived by:
one son:
Calvin BRUINGTON of Jacksonville, Illinois
one daughter:
Mrs. Mary THOMPSON of Louisville, Ky
18 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren
     The funeral was held on Friday from Freedom Cumberland Presbyterian Church.  
Burial was in the Freedom Cemetery directed by the Trent-Dowell Funeral Home in 
Hardinsburg.

     Mr. and Mr. C. L. BRUINGTON have been the house guests of her sister, Mrs. 
Raymond Alexander, Mr. Alexander, and Mrs. W. A. Hendrick.
     The Bruingtons, who have retired after living and working in St. Louis, 
Missouri for many years, are moving back to a recently purchased home on Locust 
Street.

#0139 Freedom Cumberland Presbyterian Church Cemetery.  Location:  Turn north 
immediately west of "Dead Man's Curve" from Highway KY60.  The church lies east 
of the road, and is blocked from view by a low ridge; Breckinridge County, Ky.
