 OBITUARY
     Mrs. Lena L. BRUINGTON, age 91, of Hardinsburg, Ky., died Sunday, November 
8, 1981 at Breckinridge Memorial Hospital, Hardinsburg, after a lengthy illness.  
Mrs. BRUINGTON was born April 21, 1890 in Breckinridge County, and was the 
daughter of the late Austin LeGRAND and Mary Elizabeth SIPES LeGRAND.
She is survived by:
her husband, Ben BRUINGTON of Hardinsburg, Ky
one daughter:
Mrs. Mary THOMPSON of Louisville, Ky
one son:
Calvin BRUINGTON of Jacksonville, Illinois
one brother:
Charles LeGRAND of Garfield, Ky
18 grandchildren; 40 great grandchildren; 13 great great grandchildren
     Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, November 11, 1981 at the 
Freedom Cumberland Presbyterian Church.  Burial was in the Freedom Cemetery with 
Trent-Dowell Funeral Home, Hardinsburg, in charge of arrangements.

immediately west of "Dead Man's Curve" from Highway KY60.  The church lies east 
of the road, and is blocked from view by a low ridge; Breckinridge County, Ky.
