OBITUARY   1900-1997
     Mary W. BRUINGTON, age 96, of Hardinsburg, Ky., formerly of Garfield, died 
Sunday, May 25, 1997 at Medco Center (Nursing Home) in Hardinsburg.
     She was born in Breckinridge County on November 15, 1900, the daughter of 
the late George Lee BANDY and Essie Ellen HALL.  She was a housewife, and a 
member of the Garfield Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
She was preceded in death by:
her husband, Jesse A. BRUINGTON, Sr
three sons:
Jesse A. BRUINGTON, Jr.
William Lee BRUINGTON
Lawrence McAdoo BRUINGTON
She is survived by:
four daughters
one son:
The Reverend Don BRUINGTON (now deceased)
one sister
one brother
16 grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren
     Services were scheduled for Wednesday at Garfield Cumberland Presbyterian 
Church, with burial in Freedom Cemetery, under the direction of Trent-Dowell 
Funeral Home in Hardinsburg.

#0139 Freedom Cumberland Presbyterian Church Cemetery.  Location:  Turn north 
immediately west of "Dead Man's Curve" from Highway KY60.  The church lies east 
of the road, and is blocked from view by a low ridge; Breckinridge County, Ky.
