Mrs. McGlothlan served in the Marines for three yers during World War II, one of her duties being to escort Eleanor Roosevelt for several days during a tour of her base. She also worked in a nuclear plant at Oak Ridge during the war, and after, for a total of 22 years, served her community as a working volunteer school nurse, a Girl Scout leader, and a fund raiser. Surviving are her husbnad of 50 years, Clarence McGlothlan, formerly of Irvington; three children, Catherine, Deborah, and Mile; grandchildren, Jason, April, Corey, Candice and Kevin, and great-grandchildren, Jacob, Brandon and Ryan. Internment was in Cedar Hill Cemetery with Alexander Funeral Home, Irvington, in charge of local arrangements.
