OBITUARY
     Harry E. BRUMFIELD, age 82, of New Albany, Indiana (Floyd County), 
formerly of Breckinridge County, died on Tuesday, December 22, 1998, at 
Jeffersonville, Indiana (Clark County).  He was born on January 7, 1916, in 
Stephensport, Ky in Breckinridge County.  He was a son of the late Harry 
Morton and Grace DOWELL BRUMFIELD.  He was retired from the L & N Railroad, 
and was a member of the Cloverport Masonic Lodge.  Survivors include:
his wife, Mrs. Audrey BRUMFIELD
one daughter and son-in-law
one brother:
Paul BRUMFIELD of Hardinsburg, Ky
     Funeral services were held on Sunday, December 27, 1998 from Trent-Dowell 
Funeral Home, Hardinsburg.  Burial was in New Bethel Cemetery.

Additional Comments:
Harry Elmer BRUMFIELD and his wife, Mrs. Audrey ROBBINS BRUMFIELD have a tombstone.
