OBITUARY   Special to the Courier-Journal

GUNSHOT IS FATAL TO GARFIELD MAN
Hardinsburg -- Roy J. BRUNER, age 42, Garfield, Ky in Breckinridge County, died 
some time Monday night (June 1, 1964) from self-inflicted gunshot wounds in the 
head, according to Breckinridge County Coroner Joe TRENT.  The body was found 
early yesterday by Dick CARMAN, a neighbor.
     County Attorney Charles W. HALL said BRUNER had been involved in a hit-run 
accident Saturday, and that complaints, including a charge of driving without a 
license, had been served Monday afternoon.  BRUNER was last seen at around 7:30 
p.m. Monday.
