Bruner Dies At West Point Mr. James E. Bruner, Sr. father of Mrs. Charles Norton, of Irvington, died January 28, at 3:15pm at his home in West Point. He was 81 years of age. Funeral services were conducted Monday morning at the W. G. Hardy Shively Chapel and at 2 p.m. at the Cumberland Presbyterian church at Garfield. Interment in the family cemetery. Surviving are: wife, Mrs. Della Allgood Bruner; daughters, Mrs. Paul Eulett, Mrs. Addison Stoess, Mrs. Willie Colyes, Mrs. Chas. Norton; sons, Robert, Russell and James E. Bruner, Jr., one brother, E. C. Bruner; step-son Ernest W. Cundiff; 16 grand children, and eight great grand children. Additional Comments: James Etheridge Bruner, Sr. is the son of Abraham Ackley and Matilda Chaudoin Bruner. James was married to Eula Lee Dowell, Mattie Johnson, Belle Kinneson, and Della Allgood.
