Page 1, OBITUARY
GARFIELD MAN KILLS SELF --
     Richard BRUNER, age 63, was found dead Sunday night, May 28, 1961, at his 
farm home near Garfield, Ky (Breckinridge County).  He apparently had taken 
his own life.  County Coroner, J. H. TRENT, said BRUNER died of a self-
inflicted gunshot wound.  He set the time of death at approximately 6:00 p.m. 
Sunday, May 28, 1961.  BRUNER was found at 9:30 p.m. by his son, Roy J. 
BRUNER, also of Garfield.  Mr. BRUNER is survived by:
two sons:
Roy J. BRUNER of Garfield, Ky
Morris BRUNER of Guston, Ky (Meade County)
one daughter:
Mrs. Ruth ROBBINS of Harned, Ky (Breckinridge County)
two sisters:
Mrs. Ova HORSLEY of Garfield, Ky
Mrs. Beulah KEITH of Muldraugh, Ky (Meade County)
one brother:
Enoch BRUNER of Garfield, Ky
     Funeral services were held on Tuesday, May 30, 1961 from the Garfield 
Cumberland Presbyterian Church with the Dowell Funeral Home of Hardinsburg in 
charge of arrangements.  Burial was in the Garfield Cemetery.

(NOTE:  Mr. BRUNER was not buried at the Garfield Cemetery, but at the 
Hensley, Dowell Cemetery.)

        maiden name: ADKISSON
Nell ADKISSON BRUNER is the daughter of Sarah LeGRAND ADKISSON.
This information comes from my own family research. LeGRAND is one of my 
family surnames.
