OBITUARY

JOHN W. BURDEN
     John Wesley BURDEN, age 68, of Hudson, Ky., in Breeckinridge County, died 
at Kentucky Baptist Hospital, in Louisville, on Sunday, December 23, 1973.  He 
was born January 24, 1905 in Butler County, Ky., son of the late Sidney and 
Ellen HENDERSON BURDEN.  He is survived by:
his wife, Mrs. Ersie BURDEN
two daughters:
Mrs. Beatrice DUKE of Cloverport, Ky
Mrs. Betty DUKE of Louisville, Ky
five sons:
Robert BURDEN of Hudson, Ky
Clifton BURDEN of Hudson, Ky
Jimmie BURDEN of Hudson, Ky
Joe BURDEN of Louisville, Ky
Donnie Lee BURDEN of Louisville, Ky
three brothers:
Clifton BURDEN of McDaniels, Ky
Herschel BURDEN of Louisville, Ky
George BURDEN of Louisville, Ky
23 grandchildren
     Funeral was held on Wednesday, December 26, 1973 at Dowell Funeral Home in 
Hardinsburg.  Burial was in the Hudson Cemetery.
