     Robert Lee BURKHEAD, Jr. was born in Louisville, Ky (Jefferson County).  
He was the son of the late Robert Lee BURKHEAD, Sr. and Rosie Lee HANNA 
JENNINGS BURKHEAD.  He was married to Mary WILLOUGHBY BURKHEAD.
     He was a retired machine operator at G.E., a mason, and member of the 
Baptist faith.  Surviving him are:
his wife, Mrs. Mary BURKHEAD
seven sons
four daughters
28 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren
one brother
five sisters
one uncle:
Joe BURKHEAD
     Interment: Calvert Cemetery
