OBITUARY  
     Leonard R. BUTLER, age 67, of Bloomington, Illinois in McLean County, died 
at Monroe Hospital on Wednesday January 9, 2013.  Leonard was born in 
Breckinridge County on January 26, 1945 to Raymond and Dorothy (DAWSON) BUTLER.  
     He was married to Susan (HOFFMAN) BUTLER.  Leonard retired from RCA after 35 
years of service, and retired a second time from Indiana University's Physical 
Plant as a nighttime maintenance supervisor.  He was a member of the Arlington 
United Methodist Church.
     Leonard served on mission teams, and volunteered in sending emergency 
supplies from the mission's distribution center in Illinois.  He was always quick 
to help, and was generous in his time and talent fixing things.
He was preceded in death by:
his parents
first wife, Carolyn (HAYNES) BUTLER
son-in-law, David MARSHALL
He is survived by:
his wife, Susan BUTLER
one daughter
one son
two brothers
former son-in-law
several nieces, nephews, brothers and sisters-in-law, and other family and 
friends. 
     Funeral services were held at Freedom Cumberland Presbyterian Church in 
Harned, Ky on Saturday, January 12, 2013.  Burial was at Freedom Cemetery in 
Harned.

#0139 Freedom Cumberland Presbyterian Church Cemetery; Location:  turn north 
immediately west of "Dead Man's Curve" from KY 60.  The church lies east of the 
road, and is blocked from view by a low ridge, in Breckinridge County, Ky.
