OBITUARY
     Mrs. Sallie CARMAN, age 82, of High Plains, died on Friday, March 17, 
1989, at North Hardin Nursing Home, in Radcliff, Ky in Hardin County.  Mrs. 
CARMAN was born on July 6, 1906, a daughter of Joseph Thomas and Willie RIGSBY 
THOMAS.  She was a member of the High Plains United Methodist Church.  Her 
husband, Did CARMAN, preceded her in death in 1974.  She is survived by:
two daughters:
Mrs. Juanita BOARD of Big Spring, Ky (Breckinridge County)
Mrs. Odell MILLER of Louisville, Ky (Jefferson County)
one son:
Harold CARMAN of Big Spring, Ky
one sister:
Mrs. Fannie DUTSCHKE of Webster, Ky (Breckinridge County)
two brothers:
Joseph THOMAS of Covington, Ky (Kenton County)
Raymond THOMAS of Covington, Ky
15 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren
     The funeral was held on Monday, March 20, 1989 from the High Plains 
United Baptist Church, and burial in the church cemetery.
