OBITUARY
LOTTIS CARMAN  1924 - 1996
     Lottis CARMAN, age 72 of Hardinsburg, KY., died on Tuesday, August 13, 
1996, at Breckinridge Memorial Hospital, Hardinsburg.  Mr. CARMAN was born in 
Breckinridge County.  He was a member of Hudson United Methodist Church, World 
War II veteran, and a retired farmer.
     He was preceded in death by his wife, Oma D. CARMAN; two sons, Donnie & 
Ronnie CARMAN; one daughter, Anna Barbara LOCKARD; three brothers, Amon, Stoy, 
and Johnny Earl CARMAN.  He is survived by:
three sons
four daughters
6 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; 3 step-grandchildren
two sisters:
Ada Frances BLANTON of Louisville, Ky
Marilyn NOTTINGHAM of Louisville, Ky
     Funeral services will be held on Thursday, August 15, 1996 at Trent-Dowell 
Funeral Home, Hardinsburg.  Burial will be in the Fairview Cemetery in Hudson.

approximately 3 miles east of Westview, on KY 259.
