OBITUARY
MRS. ALDA CARMAN
     Mrs. Alda CARMAN, age 83, of Fairdale, Ky., in Jefferson County, formerly of 
Breckinridge County, died Friday, May 1, 1987 at the Humana Hospital-Southwest, 
Louisville.  Mrs. Carman was born in Breckinridge County on July 5, 1903, a 
daughter of the late Jesse and Lydia PILE.
     She was preceded in death by:
her husband, Irva CARMAN in 1981 (it was 1980)
a daughter, Maxine ALEXANDER in 1975
     She is survived by:
three daughters
8 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren
     The funeral was held Monday, May 4, 1987 from the chapel of the Alexander 
Funeral Home, Irvington.  Burial was in the Horsley Cemetery near Locust Hill.
