     Howard Wayne CARWILE, age 59, of Hardinsburg, died on Wednesday, April 
10, 2002 at Hardin Memorial Hospital, Elizabethtown, in Hardin County, Ky.  He 
was born in Louisville, Jefferson County, Ky on July 3, 1942.  Mr. CARWILE was 
the son of the late Howard CARWILE and Louise RANKIN.  He was president of 
Centennial Corporation, was a member of New Bethel Baptist Church, and an Army 
veteran.  Surviving are:
his wife, Mrs. Diana BERTSCHMAN CARWILE
one daughter
two sons
five sisters
three brothers
6 grandchildren
     Services were held on Saturday, April 13, 2002, at the New Bethel Baptist 
Church, with burial in Hall Cemetery with Trent-Dowell Funeral Home, 
Hardinsburg, in charge of arrangements.
