OBITUARY

     Eugene P. CARWILE, age 62, of Irvington in Breckinridge County, died on 
Wednesday, January 18, 1984, at Audubon Hospital, Louisville.  He was born in 
Breckinridge County, and was the son of the late Charlie and Maggie RIGSBY 
CARWILE.  He was employed with the Kentucky Stone Company.
Mr. CARWILE is survived by:
one daughter
three sons
two sisters:
Mrs. Mabel GOINS of Brandenburg, Ky (Meade County)
Mrs. Blanche DAVIDSON of Irvington, Ky
one brother:
Charles CARWILE of Harned, Ky (Breckinridge County)
2 grandchildren
     Masonic services were held at the funeral home on Thursday with the 
Hudsonville Lodge #262 F&AM in charge.
     The funeral was held on Friday, January 20, 1984 from the Alexander 
Funerl Home, Irvington.  Burial was in the Hensley Cemetery.
