OBITUARY

     Mrs. Pauline CARWILE, of Louisville, Ky., formerly of Breckinridge 
County, died on Friday, December 22, 1995 at Clark Memorial Hospital, in 
Jeffersonville, Indiana, (Clark County).
     She was 83 years old.  Mrs. CARWILE was born May 12, 1912 in Breckinridge 
County, Ky., a daughter of the late Joe FRANK and Mary WHITFIELD FRANK.  She 
was a homemaker, and a member of the Parkland Baptist Church in Louisville.

She was preceded in death by:
her husband, Franklin CARWILE
She is survived by:
one daughter
2 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild
     The funeral was held at 2 p.m. EST Saturday, December 23, 1995, at the 
Alexander Funeral Home Chapel, Irvington, Ky.  Burial was in Dry Valley 
Cemetery.
