Trent-Dowell Funeral Home Obituary Listings
Clara E. Carwile, age 91 of Leitchfield,KY died Monday, 3-24-2008 at Norton 
Hospital in Louisville,KY. She was born in Breck. Co.KY on 10-27-1916, the 
daughter of the late John Robert and Tina Basham Martin. She was a homemaker 
who enjoyed reading, quilting and puzzle books. She was a member of the Baptist 
faith.
 
Clara was preceded in death by her husband - John Carwile and a daughter Vicki 
Heath
 
She is survived by a son - John Allen Carwile - Leitchfield,KY
daughter - Kathy Johnson - Leitchfield,KY
several brothers and sisters
9 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren
 
Funeral services will be held on Friday, 3-28-2008 at 1PM at Trent-Dowell 
Funeral Home with Shannon Elmore officiating. Burial will be in the Ivy Hill 
Cemetery. Visitation on Thursday from 4-8PM and after 8:30Am Friday.
