Breckinridge County Herald News; Oct. 2001
Mr. Jesse Chancellor, age 82 of Westview, died Saturday, October 27, 2001 at 
Hardin Memorial Hospital in Elizabethtown.  He was born June 14, 1919 in 
Breckinridge County to Charles and Rudie Miller Chancellor.  He was a retired 
mechanic from Blancett Motor Company and attended Cave Spring United Methodist 
Church.

Survivors include his wife, Grace Osborne Chancellor of Westview; one son, 
Daryl Chancellor of Louisville; and a sister Vernell Thomason of Louisville as 
well as three grandchildren.

Funeral services were held on Tuesday, October 30 at the Trent-Dowell Funeral 
Home with Rev. Danny Paddock officiating.  Burial was in the McDaniels Cemetery.
