Nannie Ammons Clark, 92, of Guston, KY, died Sunday 
May 8, 2016 at Kensington Center in Elizabethtown.

She was born April 25, 1925 to the late Joe & Jessie 
Ammons. She was preceded in death by her husband’s 
Johnnie Ammons, James Lucas, & Arnold Clark; her 
children Billy, Sylvia, Kenny, Roger, & Jerry Ammons; 
her siblings Jack, Tony, Claude Ammons, Zola Ammons, 
Lucille Sherron, Lena Mae Ammons, & Mary Lea Sherron.

She is survived by Children William Herman (Lois) 
Ammons of Vine Grove, Ruby (Charles) Creason of 
Greensburg, KY, Lucille Crews and friend Wayne Hackett 
of Winston-Salem, NC, Kathryn (Paul) Sonders of 
Brownsville, KY, Paul (Jane) Ammons of Vine Grove, 
KY, Sue (Wayne) Farmer of Big Clifty, KY, a sister 
Maxine McCoy; 17 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, 
7 great great-grandchildren.

Funeral service will be held Thursday May 12, 2016 at 
12 Noon EDT at the Alexander Funeral Home

Visitation will be Wednesday May 11, 2016 from 4 to 
9 PM EDT and after 8 AM EDT on Thursday at the 
funeral home.
