Page 1, Death:
WILL PROBATED
     The WILL of Joel CLAYCOMB was admitted to probate in the County Court 
last week.  His son, Carrol CLAYCOMB, is named executor.  All debts must be 
paid, and the remainder will be divided among his children.

     V.G. BABBAGE, administrator of Joel CLAYCOMB, deceased, announced an 
administrative public sale for February 16, 1900, on the premises near 
Irvington.

Breckinridge County Cemeteries, volume one, published in 1991:
Wales Cemetery, located south of US Highway 60 between Harned and Garfield.  
The graves outside of the fence believed to be used for African American 
burials.
CLAYCOMB, Joel  Feb 16 1836 -- Jan 8 1900  husband of Emma
          Emma  Aug 18 1850 -- Aug 25 1894  wife of Joel
There was no mention of Joel's death in the paper, unless it was on a page of 
the microfilm that was too faded to read.
