LIFE CLOSES FOR MRS. CLEMMONS

Well-Known Woman Passed Away in Her Eightieth Year.  Leaves Large Family.

SEVEN CHILDREN SURVIVE.

Mrs. Luther Clemmons, eighty years of age, died July 27, 1915, at the home of her
daughter, Mrs. Henry Carey, Rockvale, Ky.

She was born November 15, 1835 and married Luther Clemmons February 7, 1856.  To
this union was born eleven children, seven of whom survive.  She is also survived by
her husband, eleven grand children, six great grandchildren, two sisters and two
brothers.

Mrs. Clemmons professed religion and joined the Pond Run church in the year 1860. 
She was a faithful Christian, a loyal friend and much loved and highly esteemed by
all who knew her.

The funeral services were conducted at the home by the Rev. J. E. Meng, of
Hardinsburg.  Her remains were laid to rest in the family grave yard at Rockvale.
