2006 Trent-Dowell Funeral Home obituaries
Alice Juanita Compton, age 81 of Hardinsburg, Ky. died Monday, August 28, 2006 
at the Breckinridge Memorial Hospital in Hardinsburg.  She was born in SeRee, 
Ky. on August 30, 1924 to the late George and Amanda Francis Brown.  She was 
retired from the Galante Studio and a member of the Hardinsburg United 
Methodist Church.  She enjoyed quilting in her spare time.  Mrs. Compton was 
preceded in death by her husband Lonnie Compton, two sons, Donnie and Roy 
Compton, her sister Beatrice Compton and a brother Arlie Brown.
 
Funeral services will be held from the chapel of the Trent-Dowell Funeral Home 
on Friday, September 1, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. with burial in the Freedom 
Cumberland Presbyterian Church Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 4:00 to 8:00 
p.m. CDT Thursday, August 31, 2006 and after 8:00 a.m. until service time 
Friday.
 
The family asks that expressions of sympathy be in the form of donations to the 
Hardinsburg United Methodist Church.
