Dollie Collard Compton, age 74 of Harned,KY died Wednesday, 2-13-2008 at 
Woodland 
Terrace Health Facility in Elizabethtown,KY. She was born in Hardin County,KY 
on 
1-24-1934, the daughter of the late Dennis and Nannie Smallwood Collard. She 
formerly
attended Fairview United Methodist Church and enjoyed playing Solitare and 
Rook, as 
well as working Word Search puzzles and Jigsaw puzzles
 
Dollie was preceded in death by her husband - Johnnie William Compton
1 sister - Iris Oakley
3 brothers - Derry and Donald Collard, Thomas Skeeters
 
She is survived by 2 children: Billy Joe Compton - Harned,KY
Sandra Compton of Leitchfield,KY
2 grandchildren: Steven and Bridgett Jerding
1 brother - W.C. Skeeters - Harned,KY
2 sisters - Dorothy Compton - Custer,KY and Lorene Board - Irvington,KY
 
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, 2-16-2008 at 2PM CST at Trent-Dowell 
Funeral
Home with Bro. Chris Woosley officiating. Burial will be in the Locust Hill 
Cemetery. 
Visitation on Friday from 3:30 - 8:00PM and after 8:30AM Saturday. Memroial 
contributions are requested to: Dollie Compton Memorial Fund in care of the 
funeral 
home.
