Trent-Dowell Funeral Home
Leonard "Junior" Compton, age 73 of Kingswood died Friday at his residence.  
He was born in Breckinridge County to the late Leonard Sr and Pauline Board 
Compton. He was an Army veteran and retired from farming. He enjoyed hunting 
and woodworking. He was preceded in death by a brother, Billy Compton.
 
Junior is survived by his wife, Wanda and two sons and daughters-in-law, Ray 
and Becca Compton of Hardinsburg, Ky and Doug and Kim Compton of Cecilia, Ky. 
He is also survived by a sister, Jane Drane of SeRee, Ky and five 
grandchildren, Tyler, Meagan, Dalton, Lillie and Dianna Compton.
 
Funeral Services will be held in the chapel of the Trent-Dowell Funeral Home 
at 12 noon cst Monday with Brother Donnie Flood officiating. Burial will be in 
the Kingswood Cemetery with military honors performed by the Breck Central EMS 
207th Honor Guard. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 pm cst Sunday and after 8:30 
am cst Monday.
 
Memorial contributions may be made to the Kingswood Cemetery.
