Obituary

Wilber Mora COMPTON died at his home in McDaniels (Breckinridge County), Ky. 
on Friday, October 7, 1960 after a lingering illness.  He was born April 5, 
1893 at McDaniels, Ky., the son of Benjamin Franklin and Sarah PARSONS 
COMPTON, and spent his entire life as a farmer in this community.  He was a 
faithful member of the McDaniels Methodist Church.
Surviving him are:
his wife, Mrs. Eula MILLER COMPTON
two daughters:
Mrs. Emma DRUMM, Louisville, (Jefferson County), Ky.
Mrs. Mary LING, Salem, Indiana
two sisters:
Mrs. Mary Gannaway, Madrid (Breckinridge County), Ky.
Mrs. Ruth ROBINSON, McDaniels, Ky.
two brothers:
Herbert T. COMPTON, Greenville, Illinois
Jesse COMPTON, Worland, Wyoming
one grandchild:
Susan LINK
two step-grandchildren:
Ruthann LINK
Perry LINK

The funeral services were held on Sunday, October 9, 1960 at the McDaniels 
Methodist Church with the Dowell Funeral Home of Hardinsburg in charge of 
arrangements.  Burial was in the church cemetery.

Wilber and his wife Eula have a tombstone.
