OBITUARY.    Page 5
     Clay Conkwright, Jr., a 75 year old Harned resident, died on Sunday, 
November 28, 1999, at Breckinridge Memorial Hospital, Hardinsburg.  Mr. 
Conkwright was born in Detroit, Michigan, a son of the late Clay, Sr. and Nannie 
Meador Conkwright.  He was a retired supervisor at Olin Chemical, a member of the 
Harned United Methodist Church, a member of Custer Masonic Lodge #624, an Army 
veteran of World War II, and a Navy veteran of the Korean War.
Surviving are:
his wife, Mrs. Louise Conkwright
one son and daughter-in-law
3 grandchildren
     The funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Wednesday, December 1, 1999, from 
Trent-Dowell Funeral Home, Hardinsburg, with burial in Kingswood Cemetery.
