OBITUARY
     Alvin R. CONNER, age 73, of Harned, Ky., in Breckinridge County, died at 
2:30 a.m. on Wednesday, November 20, 1985 at the Breckinridge Memorial 
Hospital, Hardinsburg.  Mr. CONNER was born in Breckinridge County on May 31, 
1912, a son of the late Wallace and Lula HAYNES CONNER.  He was a retired 
farmer.  His wife followed him in death November 24, 1985.
He is survived by:
one daughter, Mrs. Earl (Elsie) TABOR of Rt. 2, Leitchfield, Ky
one sister, Miss Mabel CONNER of Harned, Ky
one brother, Jess CONNER of Cloverport, Ky
5 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren
     The funeral was held at 2 p.m. from the Cumberland Presbyterian Church.  
Burial was in the church cemetery (Freedom Cemetery).  Trent-Dowell Funeral 
Home, Hardinsburg, in charge of arrangements.

#0139 Freedom Cumberland Presbyterian Church & Cemetery; Directions: turn north 
immediately west of "Dead Man's Curve" from KY Highway 60.  The church lies east 
of the road, and is blocked from view by a low ridge in Breckinridge County, Ky.
